Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) or “wrap around services” are medical necessity services. IBHS includes the following:

Behavior Consultant (BC)
Mobile Therapy (MT)
Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

IBHS are short-term behavioral health services provided to the child and family in home and community settings. Community services include daycare and before and aftercare. Behavioral health services provide interventions required for behavior modification. IBHS consultants work flexible schedules including weekend and evening hours to accommodate the needs of the family. IBHS team strengthen family bonds by assisting with the understanding of diagnoses, interventions designed for behavior modification, increased understanding of challenges for youth, required support and providing resources to additional services if required.

Behavioral Consultant

Behavioral Consultant Is the lead clinician responsible for creating a behavior plan with the family and team to ensure the needs of the child are being met. 

Behavioral Consultant is a master’s level clinician with expertise in providing a multitude of services in the home and community. The BC is responsible for the clinical interventions applied, collaboration of the IBHS team, family and school and creating individualized goals specific to behavior modification.

Mobile Therapist

Mobile Therapist provides therapeutic interventions typically in the home to help your child identify and express feelings, thoughts, and emotions that trigger behaviors.

Mobile Therapy services are specialized services that do not require the family to meet in the community and/or office. The mobile therapist specializes in providing a one-on-one strength-based approach to identifying and developing the youth’s strengths.

Behavioral Health Technician

Bachelors-level staff that supports your child one-on-one, while assisting to carry out the behavioral techniques in the treatment plan.

Behavioral Health Technician provides one-on-one services across settings. BHT provides interventions according to the Intensive Treatment Plan developed by Behavioral Consultant. The BHT model and transfers skills to the family and school.
